Hi! I'm Dija it’s nice to meet you. I’m a trained professional actress with 25 years experience in film, voiceover, stage, commercial, print modeling and new media.

I bring depth, professionalism and creativity to the roles I’m cast in.

Bio

Dija Renuka, M.A. is an award-winning actress and producer with over two decades of experience in theater, film, commercial, and voiceover work. Of Jamaican and Indian descent (Awagwan and Namaste!), she brings creativity, passion, and leadership to every project she joins—approaching her work through a rich multicultural lens that deepens the emotional truth of every role.

Her screen credits include award-winning films such as Breathe (Chicago Multicultural Film Festival), Love Jordan(Circle City Film Festival Selection), Healed by Grace (Dove Seal Winner), Dress and Groom for Success (Telly Award Winner), and Rasheeda’s Freedom Day (Official Selection, Academy Award-Qualifying Heartland Indy Shorts). She is a proud company member of the Indiana Black Theatre Company.

In addition to her on-camera and stage work, Dija has spent the last 20 years as a Social Practice Artist designing and teaching arts programming for underserved youth —merging storytelling, self-discovery, and community engagement. As an expansion of her practice she founded the social impact entertainment company Blue House Entertainment, where she spent the past decade producing narrative impact films for nonprofits seeking to deepen their community connection through story.
