The Watered Seed
(Run Time 90 seconds)
A successful woman wins an award and reminisces about the person who got her where she is today.
My cousin and I decided to do this short film for the American Black Film Festival short film competition sponsored by McDonalds. The competition asked that we did something about community and service. We couldn't think of a better place to feature this film than the Felege Hiwyot Center which is an Urban Garden that teaches leadership development through farming started by my mother in law 15 years ago.
