Wrapped on "Lost" the film

I recently wrapped on a short film I was doing called "Lost" (written and directed by Lakesha Lorene) which is a drama that centers around a family who learns love, acceptance and trust through loss. The film was produced by Loving Life Productions and I was so glad to be a part of the amazing and talented cast.

Our rehearsal process was different than any film that I have been on in that we were able to spend weeks rehearsing the scenes and getting to know each other. It was really helpful because there were several emotional scenes between the characters. Not only that we had to portray being friends over several decades.

I really had to do my homework and fill out the backstory and subtext of my character for this role.

My favorite scene of the film was a flashback scene placed in the early 2000's. I totally remember those days so it was fun to pull out my chokers and shimmery eyes shadow!

This film was really challenging for me because of the emotional scenes where we had to cry. We all had to dig deep and support each other in the process. I'm looking forward to the premiere in the fall!
