Daymond John Teaches How to be a S.H.A.R.K

Daymond John is the star of ABC's Shark Tank which is a show that entrepreneurs can pitch their ideas to investors in hopes of getting funded or mentoring to the next level. The heart of the show is Daymond John who was the founder of FUBU, a clothing line that embodied the lifestyle of hip hop enthusiasts. 

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to hear Daymond John speak at the NWBOC national conference in Detroit Michigan where I was hired to do social media for the event.

Daymond John didn't just share his rags to riches journey with us, he TOOK US ON THE JOURNEY! He pulled out all the stops and brought a DJ with him to set the mood for how important a role music played in his business. It's true when they say a picture is worth a thousand words because the photos that accompanied his talk illustrated the entrepreneurial spirit and determination to accomplish his dream while communicating the emotions of the beginnings of a hip hop movement through fashion.
